I believe this explains the reticence Trump had in condemning Russia; not because of Putin, but because
of the Oligarchs as described here who supported him, and vice versa, as can be seen here: "Additionally, many Russian oligarchs are Jews who have close ties to Israel and have donated millions of dollars to major Jewish institutions.”
And donated to Trump, to become President, as did the owner of Israel Hayom.
